22.02.2018 – Forward manufacturing Co. showcased its Precision Machining Capability in Aerospace and Defence Components to the industry professionals from these sectors from around the world in Mumbai, India, at AeroDef during the India Manufacturing Week, the Aerospace and Defence Industry's first ever trade show and conference of its kind.
Forward manufacturing Co. holds expertise in machining over 15 types of Aero-Engine Blades, Guide Vanes and Flaps including Titanium Blades, Nozzle Guide vanes and Brazed Guide vanes. The company has established CNC precision machining facility to machine over 450 different component variations for the aerospace and defence sector.
AeroDef, an Infinity Expo initiative, is India's premier Defence Manufacturing, Outsourcing and Supply Chain Expo. The conference and trade show was held at the Bombay Exhibition Centre from Feb 22 – 24, 2018 at Goregaon, Mumbai. Co-sponsored by the Buteos Aerobotics Corporation (BAC) and SCHUNK, the exhibition and event places a strong focus on Aerospace and Defence Manufacturing and the key fact that Manufacturing in India can be the tipping point of unprecedented growth.

Today CSTT took the Initiative to empower the minds of young Children of the Dhanaji Nanaji Choudhary Multipurpose High School by developing their skills and opening their minds to a world of Possibilities.
CSTT volunteers enjoyed assisting the School students on January 20th, 2018 at the Training Centre in Navi-Mumbai.The students had a blast in working with the Fisher Technik Products building cars and planes. They gained a practical outlook and a better understanding of physics with the various experiments at the centre along with broadening their minds to in the fields of Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics and Renewable Energy (Solar & Geo Thermal) through the different product ranges offered by CSTT.
Sharpline achieved milestone in the Testing Machine domain
Sharpline Automation achieved a significant milestone when In-house designed, system engineered and indigenously developed Automated Ultrasonic Plate Testing Machine for 5 Meter wide Plates was commissioned to a reputed Oil and Gas Industry in the month of February 2018, using world class UT Electronics supplied by B. H. GE.
Some of the significant achievements include the following :
1. Complete design and system engineering of Automated UT Machine including precision mechanical and electronic modules.
2. Integration of Automation with UT Electronics with 102 Probes and specialised VIS/MUX Electronics.
3. Final Trials Successfully demonstrated to B. H. GE German specialist and customer at our factory premises.
4. Transportation of the complete Mechanical Structure assembly in one piece.
5. Final commissioning at Customers site and approval by the Customer's Final inspection Agency.
With this milestone Sharpline is poised to carry out many more system design oriented indigenisation jobs in the Testing Machine Domain.

CSTT has setup a complete Automation Technology – Mechatronics Lab to teach Industry 4.0 Technology in Bharat Forge Limited, Pune. The aim of the lab is to teach the employees of Bharat Forge the latest technology for building skills for Industry 4.0
